Summer is the best time to come out and try dragon boating or a new team!
Saggin’ Dragons is recruiting over the summer with a view to the 2018 season. If you would like to find a fun, committed and competitive women's team to paddle with, we would love to hear from you. We train out of False Creek Community Centre/FCRCC and our ages range from 30-60. We are looking for fit, keen and enthusiastic paddlers. Experience is a preference, however if you are motivated and willing to learn we would love to hear from you too. Similarly if you are on a mixed team and would like to try a women's team as well we may be able to accommodate. We train 2 times a week, Wednesday nights (6:7:30pm) and Saturday mornings (10-11:30) and participate in approx. 6 regattas during the year, with Steveston at the end of August being our last one for this year. We have a new coach this year, Dave Wong, who brings some great coaching and competitive paddling experience to the team.
We welcome people who are interested in paddling with us to come out and join a few practices over the summer.
