Hi everyone!

Where you ask?   at Moose' Down Under, located at 830 West Pender
When?  Saturday, June 1st from 7pm-10pm (doors open at 6:30pm)
How much?  $15 advanced or $20 at the door (available at the FCRCC office)
What's it include?  A variety of appetizers, 4 rounds of trivia, door prizes, 50/50 draws, a silent auction and get to meet new people

There are a limited number of tickets so get them soon as we can not guarantee that there will be any left to sell at the door.

Yeah, I'm talking to you One West'ers.  Time to reciprocate...I've bought many a tickets from your team and no prizes to show for it.  Winking Smiley

Come on out and support your FCRCC Senior A/B Team...what else are you gonna do on a Saturday night?

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the FCRCC Senior A/B Dragonboat team last night!  It was surprisingly a great success (only because we didn't have much time to prepare).

It's always neat to see people out of their paddling gear, dry and all dressed up Very Happy

I don't know about you but I think I better brush up on my Canadian Trivia for next time.  What about you?

A special shout out to our great MC of the night...Liz Charyna for her awesome upbeat attitude and 'Welcome' hugs as you came in the door.  She did an absolutely fabulous job.  Once again to the Team Executive for pulling together to get this event up and rolling in the short time we had to prepare.  Thank you to all the team members who used their persuasive abilities to get us all those (25 in all) great door & silent auction prizes.  We also couldn't have asked for a better venue, Catrina & her crew at Moose's were so accommodating and friendly PLUS the food was super yummy.  If you're ever in the neighbourhood again, make sure to stop in for a pint or two.  The address again is 830 West Pender St. - down the stairs.

Last but not least, thanks to my partners in crime, Katrina & Adele for that little bit extra you put in to secure the venue and pounded that pavement for extra sponsorship.

Until next time...

p.s. Congratulations to our big 50/50 winner, Anthony Cao (One West).  His teammates better expect a nice post practice feast this week  Cheers
