As part of the Paddle the Northshore events we will offer a Throw Down Challenge.
Got a team that you keep going head to head with? Or two?
Challenge them to a season finale- a Tie Breaker - a throw down
We will target these races mid-day and attempt to accommodate as many heats as we can Smile

So here's your chance to put one in the record books, the grudge match of all grudge matches on the waters of Cates Park. - September 22,2012

If you're not registered yet there's still plenty of time to stack your team and enter  Shocked
Oh, did I say that outloud - ha!

Come join us it's going to be a great day

Www.paddlenv.ca for regatta details.

Hi Krysse
Thanks for saying out loud what some might be thinking Smile

We have sufficient teams registered in all three classes of racing to provide interesting challenges to the participants.
It's a unique event - its not going to have huge numbers this year, but we are trying out something new and innovative.

Hope that you come out and race or feast on the BBQ or just to enjoy the day.

Just to liven things up on Saturday, the race crew allowed us to play with the grid and add a couple unscheduled races

Did you catch the finish of the all men's race
Suddenly a Star (Sudden Impact + Starbucks)
Easy Peezy Lazy Weezers- (O2P and ???)
Hearts of Blue (Blu By U and Dragon Heats Beat)

                                                                      Women's Open
 Men's Open                                                  1 4 Al-o-Wetters 2:36.120
2 1 Hearts of Blu 2:01.880                            2 2 Chawanda 2:20.840
3 2 Suddenly a Star 2:01.910                       3 3 Water Warriors 2:22.610
4 3 Easy Peezy Lazy Weezers 2:17.580       4 1 Raise a Little Swell 2:20.530

I think it went over well, I saw smiles and laughter and grins
