Dragon Hearts Beat is looking for someone (or a few individuals) to steer our boat during practices.
Our weekly practice times at Creekside are:
- Saturdays 9:30AM on the water
- Tuesdays 7:30PM on the water
We are looking for anyone with enough steering experience to park, launch, steer straight, make turns at False Creek, and yell at the paddlers. In other words, know enough to run practice smoothly. We have some seasoned steers on the team (who are now paddling or coaching) to help if you need to sharpen any of these skills.
If you can make it to both days, then great! If not, then it's okay. We are willing to recruit more steerspeople to fill the other days.
