Hello all.
In the next few days, I'll likely be placing an order for a hybrid PowerSurge OC paddle by Gillespie. (see link below).

http://gillespiepaddles.com/shop/hybrid_paddles.php?pid=349

Originally, I was going to place an order for myself (approx. $235 + $25 s&h, + taxes?).
I've been communicating back & forth with the owner/operator Brad over the past few days (nice guy btw), and he said that if I place an order for 5 or more, he could knock the price down to $215 US or so (plus s&h and taxes) for each paddle.  The discount may be a bit bigger for the full wood OC paddles he has.

If you're interested, pm me & I'll see if I can work out the $$$ details with Brad.

If you've not heard of Gillespie paddles or Brad Gillespie, have a look at the website.  The guy been making OC paddles for decades & was the first to introduce the double-bend paddle.  He has some great info on paddle selection & other things OC-related.  He's also introduced a lightweight OC paddle that has a carbon fibre/kevlar weave shaft that is supposed to be much more durable than carbon fibre.  My cf shaft OC paddle (a Werner) sheared into 2 pieces a couple of weeks back, so I thought the cf/kevlar shaft was quite interesting.
