Guts 'n Glory Dragonboat Event

On the Victoria Gorge Waterway
The Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club (VCKC) will hold our dragonboat races two weeks following the Victoria Dragon Boat Festival. There will be best combined time in two divisions: two 1250-meter races with a buoy turn in VCKC's 20-paddler boats and two 200-meter races in IDBF certified 10-paddler boats (new this year!).
In the morning, each team will race half of the distance. In the afternoon, teams will race the same course in a different boat. The two times will be combined to see who gets the glory and medals.
Cost is reasonable - $10 per person per race type (same as last year!): 20-paddler races - $220 per team and the Champion 10-paddler races - $120 per team. Please refer to
