It's Thanksgiving again and time for the annual Fort Langley Cranberry Festival.  Come and enjoy the community Festival and create a team to race in voyageur (10 person) canoes in the Annual Cranberry races Oct 10 in Fort Langley, 10am to 330pm.   It's a small event, only 20 teams.  Each team gets 2 morning races on a circular course and an afternoon race including fun events like picking up pumpkins from the river.  This is not a DB race but lots of DB teams enter each year. There is some boat bumping (no slashing or gunnel grabbing allowed) as five boats round the marks in the morning races and ten boats in the finals may get in a boatjam under the bridge as they try to get their pumpkin or when they stop at the beach to do their cranberry juice run.

It's all for fun.  Get a team together - there's still room!  Remember there's only 10 in a boat including a steersperson.  If you don't have a steersperson we'll help you find one.  It's $150 per team.

Contact me via email at [email protected] and I'll send you the registration and waiver forms.
