Red Fusion is recruiting paddlers for the 2009 season!
We will be practicing out of Dragon Zone twice a week, likely on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. In terms of racing, we’re looking to participate in the same races as we did last year – namely RioTintoAlcan, Harrison, and Kelowna.
You don’t have to have experience to join – all we ask is that you bring a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to commit. We made great last strides last year with a nearly a half-boat of new paddlers by jumping a division at Alcan and Kelowna. We consider ourselves a Rec A team, if that serves as a reference.
If you’re interested in making some new friends as well as having a great season on the water, come out to our informal “meet-and-greet” on Friday, February 6 at 8 PM at the Cedar Cottage Pub on Kingsway and Knight. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a PM. Otherwise, we hope to see you there!

Red Fusion is still looking for a couple of female paddlers to complete the roster - previous experience is not required. Our next practice is this Thursday at 7 PM. Send me a message for more details.

Hi, I am interested in joining a dragon boat team. I live in Richmond and have no experience paddling, but love being on the water. I'm 47 and looking for something close to home.

Hey everyone,
Red Fusion is looking to recruit paddlers for the summer paddling season.
We'll be going to Victoria (August 15-16) and Kelowna (September 19-20.) Also, we're looking at possibly getting a crew together for Harrison.
We likely need another 3-4 female paddlers to fill the roster. But, we wouldn't mind a couple of guys to round out the roster too.

hello!
when and where do you guys practice?
We practice twice a week on Thursday evenings (7 PM) and Saturday mornings (10 AM) out of Dragon Zone. We have taken a break this week, but we will resume practices on July 2. |
