The Calgary Race Club (CRC) is looking for committed paddlers to join its roster for the upcoming 2009 season. We are an energetic team looking to compete in the 2009 Nationals in Montreal and the 2010 Worlds in Macau, China. Last year we competed in Toronto, Vancouver, Phoenix, Vernon, and elsewhere, in our quest for the perfect race.
Our ultimate goal is to be the first Calgary-based dragon boat team to represent Canada abroad at the Club Crew World Championships. Would you like to be part of this history-making team of passionate paddlers?
Do you feel you can handle an intense (and fun!) winter training program, followed by remarkable one-on-one training on the water this spring/summer? Then we are the team for you. Our winter training program is now underway. To assist us in our quest, the team has secured two exceptionally high-level coaches.
