The Sudden Impact Dragon Boat team is now in off-season mode. We are looking for experienced or new paddlers for the 2009 season. We practice in a BUK on Cultus Lake between Abbotsford and Chilliwack (closer to Chilliwack)
Next year
Sudden Impact Black is going to compete at the Canadian Nationals in Montreal in August. Most of our competitive crew is returning next year and we continue to be coached by KJ. We could use some more experience/new paddlers (male and female) to fill out our roster.
Expectations: Off-season (Nov-Dec with a break for the month of December & then starting back in January until March):
Paddle on Saturday morning 9:30 to 11:30 am
OC Paddle 1-2 a week
Dry land training 2-3 a week
Regular Season (March *when daylight saving time comes into effect* to end of August
Paddle a minimum of 8 times a month
Tuesday 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Thursday 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Saturday 9:00 to 11:00 am
OC Paddle 2-3 times a week
Dryland training 2-3 times a week
