Anyone know of any local BC teams that went down to San Fran this past weekend? Anyone got any results? I checked out their website and I didn't really know too many of the out of town teams.

Teamwork is so important that it is virtually impossible for the team to reach the heights of it's capabilities or achieve winning results without becoming very good at it. You must practice TEAMWORK as a team, not as individuals!

Off the top of my head, I heard the following from the guys down in San Fran right now...

Mixed Division
Air Canada JetStart - 1st in Comp A Final
West Coast Jambalaya 3 - 6th in Comp A Final
Team Lifescan - 3rd in Comp B Final

Not sure but...
O2P (somewhere in top three in Rec C??)
Crew Yahoo (4th in Comp B?)
TopMade (Comp B consolation?)

Masters
Jambalaya/JetStart - 1st

Men's
Jambalaya/LifeScan - 5th

Women's
Jambalaya/LifeScan - 3rd

It was a good race with Canada keeping the Mixed Championship for the 3rd year. I also heard that WCJ3 had a string of bad luck throughout the weekend. Full results to follow...

I can confirm Crew Yahoo (Calgary) was 4th in Comp B.  It was fun racing with them!

Anyone know if the vendors that were selling the photos are selling them online?

They are supposed to be online, but his website does not seem to be working right now.

We were told that the digital version of the picture would cost $100 us because you are buying the copyright.  They may be able to send prints though.  Also the photographer forgot to put in his memory card for the last three finals races, so there are none of those.

If anyone has pics of the Comp B final could you let me know?

Sorry Hans but the video will be posted up soon of the Comp A Medal presentation and the now traditional Canadian National Anthem being sung (except next time, get a Paddler who is not kinda tone deaf to lead!)
