Hello all,
I've been practicing on a youth team for the past three years, and now that I'm no longer considered a youth, I am looking for a team to join up with. Weekday practices work really well. I know for sure that I am interested in joining an adult team, and there are 3 other women (along with myself) who are interested in joining. Any information anyone can give us would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know any good companies (other than merlin) to buy paddles and pfd's?
P.S. It was suggested that I also post what kind of team I am looking for. And for me, it's a competitive team, although a recreational team works too. The thing is though, out of the four of us, 2 of us are inexperienced paddlers. I've been paddling for three years, and the other paddler has just started paddling this year. But all four of us are very competitive.

If you want competitive, join FCRCC. Making the 'A' team is very hard but there's also the 'B' team (and there might be a 'C' and even a 'D' team if we get some more paddlers). You will have great coaches and the opportunity to try a variety of other paddle sports (outrigger, marathon, sprint kayak, c-boats).
