Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club runs Wednesday evening 7:00-8:30pm war canoe practices that may be of interest to some of our local dragon boating community. We welcome those new to war canoe to come out to give it a try before deciding if you want to enroll in the program. Check out www.burnabylake.com for more information. War canoe is a uniquely Canadian sport that has recently been catching the attention of the international paddling community...with a group in Italy having adapted a dragon boat for war canoe paddling.
