Paddle for Kids 2007

Congratulations to everyone who participated in this year's Paddle for Kids fund raising event. Together we raised $68,216 for BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
The top fund raising team was again TD Lightning, who raised a whopping $13,464.15. CIBC's Colby's Miracle on Water was another significant fund raising team, raising $5,340.
Beyond that, I don't have a breakdown for the funds raised by the other dragonboating and corporate teams that participated in this event. If anyone else does, please post the team totals.
Congrats again to all.

Actually Colby's CIBC Miracles on Water ended up with close to $6,500 I believe as sure enough friends of members of the team continued to contribute on-line after the races were all done and said! LOL But hey its for a good cause. At the event they announced we had about $5,900 and change as you indicated but on-line alone we are sitting at $5,340 and had about a grand in the "old fashioned way" contributions.
Congrats to all teams who did participate and we hope the newbies all enjoyed it. I know my crew did. Heck 16 of them never did it before that weekend and came away thinking they would like to be involved next year.
And of course way to goooooooooo Ray Wong, captain of TD Lightening, for yet another amazing job in getting something like $13,000! in donations? You are just unbelievable!
Until next year my friends....
Paddle on!

Teamwork is so important that it is virtually impossible for the team to reach the heights of it's capabilities or achieve winning results without becoming very good at it. You must practice TEAMWORK as a team, not as individuals!
