They could do either Masters or Grand depending on what they are looking for in a team and the level they want to race .Masters can be demanding but worth the effort if you are fast enough and looking for a Comp A level team
Masters is 40+ and Grand is 50 + I believe

You're right. 40+ is Masters, 50+ is Grand. The Grandragons practice mornings during the day, so you need either to be retired,on shift work, or independently wealthy to paddle with them. Average age of the GD's is 67years old. If you are fit and competitive the Masters is probably the way to go. The only official Masters team is Masters of D'Zone. There are many 50 years old paddling on many teams. Pick a team and try out for them. If you are good enough, bonne chance.

Masters of D'Zone = FCRCC Masters, at least until Greg Lamb, Brad Howie, etc. tell me otherwise.

That's right. But, it is a long name if you go Masters of D'zone/ FCRCC Masters. Have to be one honking t-shirt.

Well, FCRCC Masters of D'Zone doesn't sound too bad. Better than Ampco Graphics FCRCC Premier Open, IMO.

take out the premier part, and that sounds about right. I don't think we've used "premier" in our name, except maybe in Toronto last year?
