Did you get anywhere with sourcing /obtaining those half-sized (10-person) Dragonboats for this regatta?

Unfortunately not! I worked hard to find the baby dragon boats, but couldn't find any that would fit in our budget. Maybe next year.

We have added Masters, Grand Masters, Corporate Cup and an All Cancer Division to our Festival. The Beer Garden and Paddlers Party should be a good one.

Another exciting part of the festival we added is 250m, 500m and a really long 1500-2000m Circle the Bridges race.

There are 4 sponsoring Hotels with prices from $74-$139. Not bad for a Downtwon Portland Hotel. All visiting teams will have a local host team.

I hope we have more Canadian teams come on down to Portland! Most of our teams make their way to at least one Canadian race each year.

The "Fun" team will be composed of those individuals that are gifted in socializing and alcohol consumption.  the erg and on-water testing will not be a factor.

The Early Bird extension for Visiting Teams has been approved.

If your team is interested in coming to the Portland Dragon Boat Race on September 8-9, I have GOOD news for you!
We are offering an extension of the $100 discount until July 28th.

This is for Visiting teams only!

All forms can be downloaded at: www.dragonsports.org

All Hotel reservations must be made by August 8th. I may be able to find some Billets for a few participants. Let me know if you need housing.
