Hello All Whistler Teams,
As many of us have been wondering over the last few weeks...Water's Edge is regretfully canceling the 2007 Whistler Dragon Boat and Outrigger Canoe Event. As some of you may be aware, we've had numerous challenges from the city of Whistler with setting up this new event for 2007 (dates change, venue, other Whistler events conflicts) Unfortunately we aren't able to pull off a high quality event with the challenges we came up against this year... most of this year's challenges aren't under our control. Tthus with 6 weeks to go, we had to come to the decision to cancel the 2007 event.
We regret the impact this may have on your accommodation and travel plans. At this point we would like to process you the full registration refund so your teams have sufficient notice to plan out the rest of the season.
We will be processing you full refunds in the form that you paid.
Please note, if you paid by credit card, the confirmation email of your refund will likely only state the base price of refund (not including the GST). Please be assured that the gst will be included on your credit card refund. The refund will come from the Sporg online reg. system.
If you paid by cheque a refund cheque will be mailed to you from Water's Edge.
Please email us 1) who the cheque should be payable to 2) what address it should be mailed to.
