World class coaches with tons of patience! Lots of individual attention. Video analysis, orientation to the OC, ergometer work, and our first festival of the year still to look forward to this week.
Got to break in brand new BUKs. And we can't ask for better weather!
Hat's off to Water's Edge for a great time!

If you ever wanted to know more about the details of the stroke mechanics, with hands on training - this is the place to be. Access to a wealth of knowledge and personal one on one help, this paddling camp is a must for all. I've seen paddlers with years of experience, even comment, how much they have learnt too.
Looking forward to next years camp.

Actually, if you join the FCRCC team, you get only some of what you would experience. We have other olympic paddlers who provide valuable insights on training techniques, core strength/stability training, and much more. We even have season paddlers saying that they learnt new techniques.
If you really want to become a paddler, learn & train from the best.

You'd have to commute back and forth from Vancouver to Calgary to get the coaching - but even then you wouldn't get the concentration of information, the focus...
An amazing experience.
Honestly, if you want to push your paddling performance, there is no better option.

Thank you Jackie, Kat, Andrea, Kamini, Jason, Linda, John, Kerry, Chris, Kim, Darby, and Leah for a great time at the paddling clinic and festival this weekend! The clinic was Awesome! We learned a lot about technique and will continue to work on our body positions and race pieces. No more double hitchers, side collapsers, over-rotators, head bobbers or stackers for us! We appreciated all the feedback that was provided and we will be back next year for more of the torture!
Take care, y'all. We'll be looking for you at Alcan!! Cheers! Blu By U Crew

Ok what a shock to the system, coming back to snow today from the nice temperatures in AZ.
I must aggree with most folks here. It was a great camp, what a way to kick start the season, Its a good thing we can't get on the water for another month, my butt may feel normal by then.
I also want to echo thanks to all the Waters Edge / Calgary Canoe club crew for the excellent work they did throughout the week.

This camp was put on jointly by Water's Edge and the Calgary Canoe Club.
