Here are some of the prizes for the Taiwanese Dragon Boat festival Sept. 2-4 2006.
Also we are having a mens and womens races. Top team will win GOLD medals.

> 1. $5,000 Cash prize daily (Total of $15,000)
> 2. Chance to drive away a Mercedes-Benz B-Class
> 3. One Sony Bravia 40" LCD TV
> 4. 2 Pairs of air tickets to anywhere Harmony Airways flies. (except Maui)
> 5. Three 5,000 minutes of long distance calling to anywhere in the world.

> For the Beer Lounge, it'll be opened for paddlers after 3pm on the Saturday
> and 11am on Sunday, and every paddler gets their first Taiwan beer for
> free.  The Beer Lounge will also be open on Monday for paddlers too, so they

so, if you're paddling for a team, are you automatically entered?   Or do you have to buy lottery tickets for this?

those prizes sound like raffle-type draws as opposed to actual prizes for races

All the draws are free to enter.  We will distribute the ballots at the gate, as well as distribute through our sponsors and through newspaper inserts.
