My team (Los Angeles Racing Dragons) has been coming up from Los Angeles to participate in Alcan every year for oh-so long.  The reason why we keep coming back?  The hospitality, friendship, competition and sense of community my team encounters whenever we are in Vancouver is absolutely amazing.  Props to Kerrie, one of the race organizers, for the fine bottle of wine we received from him as we were fortunate enough to win the Comp C division.  Your hospitality is greatly appreciated.

Thanks to the race organizers, and especially our host - TD Lightning (Rec B Champs, I believe) for a wonderful weekend.

LARD was out at the beer garden in force.  If you saw women doing cartwheels, those were our girls.

Hope to see you in Long Beach in July or San Francisco later in the year.  If not, we will likely see you all next year in Vancouver.

Team LARD,

You guys rock....Rec A, now Comp C champions....next year? Comp A or B?

Thanks for participating in this year's Alcan Festival and we hope to see you next year.

Next time, it won't be a bottle of wine, but a KEG of beer....

BTW Tell Will, that I have my mom's phone number for him......

Damn that Canadian beer...I was warned, but I didnt take it to heart. Now there are videos and pictures and lots of other incriminating evidence that i have yet to see. sigh.

Kerry, I didnt see you in the beer garden. I think i still have an unredeemed drink ticket with your name on it. There's always next year.

Dear dboat village elder,

Indeed, I was in the Beer Garden....I moved so quick, no one really saw me...How else did I see Will, on your team, swivel his hips with our Canadian ladies?

But truthfully, I didn't stick around for long...I was exhausted...Said hi and bye to some friends...and dashed off to my bed...for 2 days......

Next year...I will be back.... Laughing

Colossus, I saw that Vi sent you some pics, and i heard we should be expecting some back. I'm going to have to agree w/ Kerry, burn the evidence. I would have said what happens in vancouver stays in vancouver, but you guys are still there so then I guess thats my bad.

Kerry, hopefully you wont be so elusive next year. Go ahead and reap the fruits of your labor. Next year... Cheers

BTW. I am Will the drunkie.
