I see quite a bit of Spaceman's crew but not too many of any other crews that I know personally!  Sad

well, if you know them personally, show them this thread and ask them to post their pics. i'm sure at least 1 person on each team was taking pics at alcan.  Razz
And personally, I generally don't take pics of people (teams) I don't know to respect their privacy.

ummm to be honest you and some of the others have fantastic photos that I don't think I would want to see those of our family and friends unless they are good enuf ya know? LOL And I neglected to tell you personally that your pics are always awesome! Keep it up!

heh, spaceman's crew, in orbit above Skylon 4.  Drinking chamomile tea.

Thanks for the pics Photog.  Bern, my crew is not over-represented though, you just notice them b/c you know who I am and are anxious to see more of yours that's all.  Keep in mind, I'm also involved with 4 crews.

If you want Photog to go around taking pix of all the teams 'equally', then I think he deserves some kind of compensation for that don't ya think?  I think we're pretty lucky he posts what he does.  That stuff's worth something, It's a major draw to this website for a lot of people. I have a picture that I'm waiting to receive.   It's a very incriminating photo of someone we all know... and I'm sure he'd love for me NOT to post it..

You know I am all in favour of compensating the fellows who put up some really great shots! In fact why don't we plan some sort of "wrap-up" party after Kelowna since that is usually the last major race that most teams go to. It would be a nice idea for us to get to meet face to face. I am new to this site obviously so don't know everyone. And as I keep going here I am realizing maybe we should start a new topic just about that.

And Spaceman you are correct in saying what you did. Maybe it is because you are very involved. And I wish to be! LOL NOT! I am now down to just one team coaching and one team paddling which is pretty busy enough as it is!

not that we've met, but i know who Photog is, and i know guido and zeph, but thats pretty much it.  everyone else is nothing but a screen name in my head.

as for compensation for photos, i dont' exactly take the worlds best photos all the time, but for the few that do turn out nicely, i'm just glad that they do and i jump at the chance to show them off to whoever wants to look Wink  hahahaha
if i end up on a team that goes to kelowna, i'll be snapping photos there as well.

it's always when you don't try to "capture the moment" - the pictures turn out crazy beautiful.

thanks for sharing the love  Very Happy
