Good topic for another thread "Who will win the right to go to WCC in T.O.".  Probably too soon to start that one though.

No time like the present to start.  I'll add a poll at the end of April with the names of the teams named in this thread. So... who's actually aiming on going for the WCC? I'd like to hear of teams that aren't just the normal Vancouver-based teams...

Off the top of my head, I think Pac Reach, Roli, Subaru and GPRC United (not to be confused with RGL United)...

We'll need to specify the division also:

Mixed
Men
Women
Masters Mixed
Masters Men?
Masters Women?
Juniors
Breast Cancer

Any other divisions?

fake ID wouldn't help if I still get carded at liquor store.  I think I have to learn to grow some facial hair first.

Aren't you old enough to be my dad??  Very Happy

Dumb question:
What are the ways in which teams win the right to go to WCC in Toronto?
I had thought that it was like any other festival, but I didn't realize that there were formalized rules and/or qualifiers!

One would have to take a trip to Calgary during Aug 6-7 for the race-off.

I'm not sure who the final winner will be but my picks in no particular order are:

GRPC United
Pacific Reach
False Creek

As I've said before it's gonna be a great year of racing.  Paddles up!!!!

somehow I don't think false creek is entering a team for the CC race-off.  I believe they are preparing to qualify for the worlds.

Correct me if I'm wrong tiger...

1) Pacific Region Race off (1 entry) - Calgary, August 6-7th, 2005
2) Central Region Race off (1 entry) - Sudbury, July 16th, 2005
3) Atlantic Region Race off (1 entry) - Montreal, September 24th, 2005
4) North American Club Crew Championships (2 entries) - Welland, August 26-28th, 2005

Gorging must be making a bid for the WCCC's as well, consider them a lock-in
