I've seen some great photos from the different festivals and was wondering what kind of equipment was being used by the different photographers.

I've been using an old (but good!) Konica Autoreflex T SLR with a Vivitar 85mm-210mm telephoto lens for actual race shots, sometimes with a 2x teleconverter.  For the general dockside, warm-up, team photos, I use either a 57mm or 28mm Konica lens.  Generally, the camera is loaded with Fuiji 400 ASA Superia?? film (I need to look at a roll)

My wife and I just got a Nikon D70 SLR as a wedding gift.  It came with a 18mm-70mm lens as part of the kit and I'm looking at a Nikkor 70mm-300mm ED zoom lens to go with it.

So post some descriptions of your camera equipment and let's see what we can get going in the way of a db photography discussion.
