Just a random thought that popped in my head during practice last night. Since FCRCC has both the DCC 6-16 boats... What does DCC have right now? Are there actually teams that are paddling out of Dragon Canoe Club right now? Or have they packed up and gone home?
I also noticed that dragon boats are no longer allowed out past Granville Street Bridge due to boat traffic so that might affect DCC's operations.

Swordfish paddles out of the Burrard Civic Marina through DCC...don't know exactly how many boats they have though. Actually just last night, some guy yelled out of his boat saying he thought that dragonboats weren't allowed to paddle past Granville bridge anymore so there might be some truth in what you heard.

From what I remember practicing out of there a few years ago, all club boats were restricted passage through Granville Bridge, except for teams practicing out of DCC. That is at the beginning of practice heading out, and the end of practice heading in. NO BRIDGE TO BRIDGE PIECES. I mean, what other choice would teams have to dock the boat back at the marina. The rule should still apply, unless there have been changes since then.
It was also mentioned back a couple of years ago, during the steering accreditation clinic.
