Calling all Fire Fighters, Police Officers, Correction Officers & CBSA Officers to awaken the dragon within and become a part of a world-class dragon boat experience in Vancouver, BC.

10 man racing + 20 man racing equals one great event! Mark August 8, 2009 on your calendar.

OK ... Very Important Message.

As many of  you know I have been attempting to put together a Dragon boat Team to enter into basically all the comp divisions (Women's 10, Men's 10's, Mixed 20's and Mixed 10's) at the World Police and Fireman Games in Vancouver.  The deadline for registration for all teams was today - April 15, 2009.  So I vainly put in a mixed 10 team and I currenly have 11 paddlers on my roster.  Of the 11 paddlers 9 of them paddle on our comp team - Sudden Impact Black.  So with this new extention I am looking for more firefighters or law enforcement officers to make a mixed 20's and potentailly Women's 10 and Men's 10 teams.  On the current roster we have 5 women and 8 men.  We would need at least 3 more women and 4 more men.  If interested please PM me.

Team Name - IMPACT SHIELD - BC Canada

As per the newsletter from WPFG today -

How many men do you have for a men's 10?  Its been a while since i've done any hard paddling, but I might be able to be convinced to take another day off for the games if you don't mind a non-practiced paddler amongst your ranks.   Laughing

Never give a match up halfway through. Never say that you do not feel up to it, that your condition is bad, and throw in the towel. Fight to the very end, always looking for your chance to break through.
