Calling all interested Senior A Paddlers
FCRCC Premier has secured a Senior A berth at the upcoming World Club Crew Championships in Szeged Hungary, July 17-22 2018
We are looking for experienced paddlers, 40+ years old, who would like to join the dragon boat program to try out for the team to compete in Hungary.
To tryout you must be a member of FCRCC and also become a member of the False Creek Premier Dragon Boat Team. You will receive excellent coaching from Kamini Jain and Andrea Dillon. The team also engages in fun activities when off the water.
Time trial and fitness tests are required. These tests are open, so you will see how you are doing in relation to other team members which will push you and others to get faster. We also go out regularly in OC1 in groups and in the OC6. Gym time and cardio workout are also done by team members in groups for those who like to work out together.
You will be required to compete at two qualifying races such as Concord to be eligible as all racers must have raced the qualifiers to compete at Club Crew World Championships (CCWC).
