Are you a Vancouver Island-based paddler looking to take your skills to the next level? The Gorging Dragons are looking for highly motivated men and women to join the following programs:
Senior C - men and women aged 60+ as of June 1, 2018
Senior B – men and women aged 50+ as of June 1, 2018
Premier – men and women aged 18+
Led by a team of coaches with National Team experience in dragon boat, C1, and sprint kayak, our club has the leadership and tools to support you in developing the skills and fitness necessary for National and International competitions.
In 2018, our Senior C open, women, and mixed teams, along with our Senior B women, will be competing at the Club Crew World Championships in Szeged, Hungary. Our Premier crew will be focused on local races in Vancouver, Nanaimo, and Victoria, as we rebuild towards being an A-level crew.
We welcome team players to join us in our fall practices to gain a sense of our team dynamics, social atmosphere, and training regimen before committing to join for our 22nd dragon boat season.
