Dead in the Water is seeking paddlers for the 2014 season.
A little about us:
We are just starting out this year, but most of the paddlers are experienced. Anyone on the Island has without a doubt seen us around causing a bit of a ruckus whenever possible. We paddle out of Fairway Gorge (formerly GRPC) on Mondays at 7pm, and Wednesdays at 5:30pm for 90 minutes. We are primarily focused on being easy going, and having a good time. Most of the ages range from 30-40. Don't let our focus fool you, however. We do the best we can, and expect to be a Jade level team or possibly higher. I'm not sure if this is a goal, or just what will happen, but expect a lot of mayhem when we're not in a race
Races we are doing will be Gorge SS, VDBF, NDBF, and possibly Portland. Maybe the VCKC 10 man's if enough people are interested.
