48 years old (Senior B in 2015). Usually engine room but I've been in every seat - including stroke - left/right, don't matter, as long as we're out there with at least 15 paddlers (pet peeve).  Love the competition and training but I don't need to be doing dry land (I do my own dry land), OC, and/or be out more than 2 times a week.

Drop me a line here.

Hi!
I hope you are female because if you are, please read on. If you aren't, I apologize, we're a women's team.

So here are our details: we are Snapdragons, and we are recreational but we are becoming more competitive. Before you hang up on me, let me tell you we have won medals:
Rio Tinto Women's B: gold, bronze.
Pentiction Diamond division (second highest division): two golds and a silver, and we raced in the highest division one year but didn't get a medal.
Harrison: gold
Seattle: bronze
Women's Regatta: lots of first places.

Our best time ever: 2:10:55.

These medals and time were with a boat of 50% new paddlers every year. THIS year we aren't taking anyone who hasn't paddled for at least one season.

More details: Tuesday practice at 6 pm at Dragonzone, off the water at 7:20 pm. We are required to be on the water one other day per week (no problem for you, you have an OC1).

Our coach is VERY experienced (more than 20 years) and races competitively himself (going to the World's in Italy this year).
Fees: $350.

We are women of all ages (early 20s to 50s) and we are serious when we race. BUT we like and support each other, like to have fun, we have BBQs and potlucks, pub nights, and go snowshoeing. We are welcoming to new members.

Would you like to come to our team meeting on March 4th at 5:30 pm at the Sin Bin, in the "VIP room"? Also, I invite you to our first practice (free) on March 11th  at Dragonzone, meet at 5:15 pm.

Either way, will you please give me a quick reply as in "maybe" or "absolutely not",
Kathleen [email protected]  (I'm finance and "den mother" for the team).

Hope to meet you (if you are female). And if you are male, I'm sure you are a very nice person.

Hi "Creature"!

Hope all is well with you!

My name is Sarah and I'm with Dragon Hearts Ultimate. We're currently looking for male paddlers (and a steersperson, if you know anyone looking for a team!) so we would love to have you join us on the water if you're interested.

We practice 3 times a week out of Dragonzone:

Tuesdays 6:45 PM
Thursdays 6:45 PM
Saturdays 7:30 AM

I'm managing the team this year with co-captains Kitty Sun & Klement Mui.  Brad Howie is are coach. We've been out since last October (twice a week) until we bumped it up to three times / week this January.

Would love to discuss more with you if you would like (i.e. goal for 2014 season, previous accomplishments, etc.). Feel free to drop me a line at [email protected].

Thanks & hopefully we'll talk soon!

Sarah

I've selected my team for 2014.  Thank you to all that replied.

See you on the water!
