If National Team paddling interests you, this is a great way to get your feet wet. This is being done early so you can get an idea of how you can prepare for the fall team activities if trying for the team is something you choose to do. You may be surprised how much you can improve over a short period of time!
Entering into a National Team try-out process can be daunting the first time you do it. Once you take the first step, though, it is worth it. Come out on March 1 and see what is required for participation in the Premier Mixed National Team Program, work with the coach, Kamini Jain, and meet some of the 2013 paddlers and aspiring 2015 paddlers. No pressure.
You’d be amazed how much you can improve in a year! Come out now and start your journey toward 2015 and beyond.
The cost is $25 for FCRCC members and $35 for non-members. There is no cost for 2013 or 2011 Premier Mixed National Team members. Please email Kamini at
[email protected] with questions or to let her know you are coming.
Information on Premier Open and Women’s processes will also be highlighted. Paddlers will be directed to the coaches of U-24 or Sr.A if those teams are a better fit for them.
