we're Splash Test Dragons & we're looking for new & used paddlers for 2013 - paddling
Saturday Sunday mornings on the glorious waters of False Creek launching from Granville Island, we will be entering several events this year still to be confirmed. Our membership fees are reasonable - we ask for commitment to practices & events the team registers for. (One or more of the events may be out-of-town with accommodations/travel fees extra.)
And, if you don't want to or cannot paddle any longer, but still want to be part of a fun team, we're also looking for a drummer & steersperson (we will train/coach you to succeed in either of these roles.)
our team is MIXED, all adults, all the time (except in the beer garden, some of us have been known to be quite ... hmmm, young'ish?
we typically place in the high Rec or low Comp divisions & want people who understand the saying: "paddle for fun, race to win"
experience is not necessary - we will coach you the paddling technique for dragon boating
&&& we want MORE MEN on our team this year so gentlemen, look to STD for your answer to a good time on the water
