I think the quality of competition at this year's festival just went up a notch. Look at all those sub 2 min times! And where did FDL come from? Platinum finals? Really??  Gotta keep my eye on them. Btw. loving the live twitter feeds of race results! so much easier to follow what's happening thru out the day |

Btw. loving the live twitter feeds of race results! so much easier to follow what's happening thru out the day I agree. The last couple years the calibre of teams in Victoria has been going up. Its getting harder and harder to just make it into the platinum division, never mind qualify for the finals. This was the first year for open teams. Everyone I talked to loved watching it and racing in it! Hopefully we can get more teams interested next year and have a true division! As for FDL, word around the tents was that they were a thrown together team of One West and Magnum paddlers. Can anyone on here confirm that? |

Maybe next year if my home team doesn't come, I can join a mix team  I was with Paddles of Fury and last year with BlewByU. Oh and anyone is thinking about coming to Portland for the race in a few weeks, let me know. My team can host a few people. |

Yup. 12 cups Ares 6 cups Starbucks Kanaloa 4 tbsp Lifescan 2 tsp Free agents (no current team) 1 dash Swordfish 1 pinch One West Puppy knows. It wasn't as bad of a blending nightmare as we thought. We had 2 practices to do it  |
