Teamwork is so important that it is virtually impossible for the team to reach the heights of it's capabilities or achieve winning results without becoming very good at it. You must practice TEAMWORK as a team, not as individuals!

Navy Dragon Anchors went to the Kelowna DB Club Festival this past weekend and we loved it!  The $800 early bird fee is much better than most two-day festivals, dinner on Saturday night was delicious, the weather was amazing, and the view from the beach is always beautiful.  As far as the people go, the organizers, the volunteers, and all of our competition from BC and Alberta, were fantastic, not to mention our host team, Dragon in the Drink, who fed us, cheered for us, and made us feel so welcome!

Keep in mind, this is not the for-profit event that used to occur in September and ended in 2010.

The number of teams was very small, just six women's and twelve mixed, but there is no reason why this event shouldn't explode in size in 2013.  Everyone should be giving KDBCF serious consideration next year.
