The TWISTED HIPS are a fun, highly motivated, mixed, high-rec division B team looking for paddlers. We are going into our 4th year with high asperations of continuing our winning ways. In 2011, we won a SILVER at RIO TINTO and captured the GOLD at the HARRISON DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL, 'B' rec division.
The HIPS are are made up of paddlers from all differnt back grounds, body-types, nationalities & ages. We get along because of our diversity and commitment to the team. We strive to improve not only the team but ourselves.
The HIPS are looking for:
- Fit Men & Women between 20-45, new & experienced welcome
- Good attitudes
- Paddlers wanting to win and have a good time doing it
- A good sense of commitment
