Why are there so few teams in this year's rankings? Last year there were so many more teams included. Sad

There are fewer teams nowadays compared to half a decade ago, but in comparison to last year... more teams will be added onto the list as more local festivals are run (esp. after Alcan, a lot of out-of-town & first time teams will be added to the list).

Our team was ranked last year and have paddled in four festivals since then, two of them this year and we're no longer in the rankings. Why has the team fallen off the list?

The ladder rankings start fresh at beginning of the year. The current ladder rankings post only has results from the Dash for Charity, FCRCC regatta, and Dragon Zone regatta.

So your team (I'm assuming its VCKC Grand Dragons) has not fallen off the rankings - its just that it didn't participate in any of the above three races to be ranked so far.

Once the rankings are updated with the results from Alcan (which should be posted by the end of the week), your team will be back on it.

Looks like this team will not be ranked this year.  Sad
Only two races left for us to participate in and they are "Seattle Celebrating Life Dragon Boat Festival -Sept. 3" and "Portland Dragon Boat Race- Sept. 10-11."

It hasn't been updated since Alcan. Give BlueStreak a little bit of time and I'm sure he'll have it updated with the complete array of festivals!  Very Happy
