I wonder what happened to Dragon Hearts Beat's result in the women's race.

It is amazing what a crap digital camera can do.  Now, only if my mobile phone could do the same thing.

That was some great racing.   I think it is fantastic that One West beat FCRCC HP.  It will drive both crews even more to do better next regatta. We are now looking to improve ourselves by learning what makes One West so good.

I think Starbucks have come a long way to be at the level they are here.  I am looking forward to seeing them make a push for Comp A at Alcan.  Well done!

It was very rewarding to be doing the men's race as well.  I hope we can continue a trend, and have more men's races and teams in future regattas. I hope all the men that participated had a good time racing together.

Good day altogether.

Couldn't agree more. It's definitely an honour to even be mentioned with the likes of FCRCC. We've trained hard during these past few years (first on Magnum, now on One West), and it's rewarding to see it paying off. I can still remember my junior days and watching the Comp. A races with amazement... hoping one day I'd be on a crew that would be able to crack the higher divisional tiers.

I know False Creek will come back even stronger, and I can guarantee you that One West will be working their butt off. It'll be nice to see the two teams pushing each other in the next few regattas. And in the end of it all, we'll all be representing the same banner and wearing the same jerseys when a lot of us head over to Tampa  Very Happy.

PS: Thanks Backward Rowing for the video. And I have to give tremendous props to the some of the amazing girls on One West that helped us in the Open race with Maggie's Minions (although I don't know how much of the race Maggie was actually watching esp. if there was food around).
