Hi guys,
I'm looking for a couple paddlers to hop in for the Portland Dragon Boat Festival Sep 11-12, cost will be $30 for the festival plus your share of transport and accommodation. It's good to have the Fri and Mon off for getting there and back.
If possible, I'd prefer the paddlers to be from Victoria just to help with the carpooling situation but if we don't get anyone in time I'd be willing to take paddlers from elsewhere you'd just have to figure out your way down.
I'm ideally looking for strong, hardworking paddlers that don't take themselves too seriously, will be fun to spend a weekend with and aren't wishy-washy! It's getting near the end of the season and I'm too tired to deal with flakiness!
We've got a mix of teams from GRPC (Fifth Moon, Enter the Dragon, Dragonauts, PI, Excalibur, random others...) and are headed down as GRPC United. If you're interested shoot me an e-mail at
