Hey everyone,

I am looking to share rides to the Harrison DragonFest, leaving next Friday, July 23 and returning on Saturday. Please contact me if you have space in your car and are looking to share the cost of transport.

Thanks!

Grid doesn't appear to be up but Ultimate with a few Magnum ringers will be there for sure. I hope it stays sunny for that weekend!

The grid is usually up by Wed of the regatta week.  Forecast is calling for sunny and 27 degress out in the valley.  Doesn't look like we will have thunder and lightning like last year.  Historically warm and sunny means wind by 11amish on the lake.

well technically thunder and lightning on the odd years (07, 09) good hot weather on the even years (08, 10?) lol

My predictions were right! there were NO thunder and lightning! haha (2011 is an odd year..uh oh!)

Thanks to Water's Edge and all the volunteers (especially boat holders, damn cold glacier waters!) for running a smooth event.

Also thanks to all the teams that came out and raced, awesome day to be paddling with you all!

I will second that!!   Cool   It was an awesome day of racing with the event finishing approx 45 minutes ahead of schedule with 60 teams to get through the grid.  Excellent job by "Madam Starter aka Kim"  and the Water Referees for lining up the boats with a heavy offshore wind.   Too bad this could not be a 2 day event.    Thank you Water's Edge and FVDBC for putting on an excellent regatta.  See you next year.

All this hard work for 2 minutes of paddling, 4 times a weekend, every few weeks....
Edit: and now that I've gotten to do Guts and Glory (TWICE!) it's been worth every second!
