At the end of the races on Saturday, the festival organizers gave Team Canada free beer for everyone. In return, we had to take some photo's with the tasty San Miguel Beer.....

Here is a picture of our semi-finals. We had to come 1 or 2, to advance to the Final GOLD CUP Race. We were against the hot Hong Kong Island Paddling Club. At the start, HKIPC flew out of the start gate. But true to our form, we tracked them down and then passed them around the 450M mark. Once we caught them, there was no holding back....
Off the line, HKIPC in the lead
450M mark, we start to pull away

Here is a roller that went underneath of us. You can't see these rollers but you sure can feel them....
You can see Jes, trying to brace the boat...I don't think he wanted to go for a swim...Our drummer was not to thrilled either.

this is the Singapore Breast Cancer team - it was a sexy number with a smoke show
A spontanteous dance with everyone
After all the fun was had, we ate like KINGS/QUEENS
