The National teams for both mixed and open (mens) in the premier age category (which means no age category - the best regardless of age) for the 2011 IDBF Worlds in Tampa are centered in Vancouver at FCRCC. This doesn't mean all the athletes will be from FCRCC or Vancouver. These teams will be composed of the best paddlers from around the country. What it does mean for local athletes is that there will be the great opportunity for an ambitious dragon boat paddler to raise their game by vying for a position on the team. You never know if you don't try.

If you are a woman, please include whether you are also vying for a premier women’s team position. If you are male, wishing to be on only one of mixed or open, please include that information.
The commitment required will be participating in occasional testing and training activities in your region and, for those selected, participation in a Vancouver training and selection camp in the spring of 2011 and an Ontario summer preparation camp linked with Nationals.
