Hey everyone,

Now that dragonboat season is fast approaching (i bet teams are starting to practice now), i'm itching to join a team.

Some dboat stats and bits of info about me:
- 24 year old female (if you need more ladies in your boat..i'm in! Smile)
- been paddling for a good 2 years
- part of the university dboat team + a company team, but had to miss out on dboat for 2 years because of co-op placements/funding issues
- ambidextrous paddler (you can put me on either right or left and i can go at it! Smile)
- flexible (i've been a rocket girl for a good year and a half though, have raced a couple of times as a pacer... haven't been an engine person, but i reckon it's all worth a shot Smile)
- here until August for co-op

So, can anyone help me out and point me to the direction of a dboat team in Calgary? I'm cool with crazy/insane/intense work-outs and i'm also into rec teams as well. Whichever works. I'm pretty open. Only qualm: i don't drive so hopefully, i can hitch/commute my way around the area to wherever the practice location would be.

So.. hope to get some help. Can't wait to get involved and active again. I miss paddling *stroking longer, deeper, harder... haha Smile*

Have a good one! Smile
