Hi Paddlers,

as being new to this forum, I hope it is okay to give you once in a while some announcements about new things I produce or publish.
However, if it is not okay please let me know immediately and I'll back off. I have no intention to disturb this forum.

Well, let's give it a try with the following:

It is my pleasure to announce a brand new website to you:

http://www.dragonboatworld.tv

DRAGON BOAT WORLD Television (DBWT) is both, the new IP-based TV-like channel and the “Video Tube” for dragon boating and other paddle sports.

While you already can visit the website and upload and watch your videos, the first broadcast can be seen on October 1st, 2009 on the “Front Screen”.
From then on it is scheduled to give you a monthly TV programme.

Please help to give DBWT a good start and let others know about it too.

For the latest Issue No. 7 of DRAGON BOAT WORLD INTERNATIONAL Magazine and also to download the latest IDBF-Newsletter please go to:
http://www.dragonboatmagazine.com

Thanks and Paddles Up

DBTV had two founders Bobby and Brent who split after a short while. Brent then continued DBTV alone but wasn't able to put the necessary time and effort to it. Things slowed down more and more. The result can be seen on DBTV since now almost a year with the announcement that DBTV Generation 3 will be coming.

Also dragonboatvideosonline.com, which was run by DBTV, only shows errors since about half a year or even longer. Nobody is fixing it. Unfortunately!

Me myself, I was involved with DBTV as content provider and Asia correspondent and I think to run those sites was a great idea.
Since nothing is happening there anymore and after some time of waiting I felt the gap left behind needs to be filled.
That's why DBWT came to life.
