I've been having troubling accessing dragonboatwest.net from my home computer. At first I thought the site was down, but I realised it was always down when I was at home, and always up when I was at work.
After some fiddling, I found I could get onto the site if I "borrowed" my neighbours wi-fi signal, but immediately lost the site if I went back to my own internet connection.
Is their a DNS issue with Telus???

Hey Paddlecwazy. I too have this problem and I brought it up with Bluestreak and he said he checked my home IP address and it is not blocked. I suspect the same of yours. I can not access DBW from my home wireless access either but I can with my neighbour's wireless access. Shhhhhhhh don't tell him!  Also from work I can get access. I am so glad that I am not alone but not happy that it is happening though. Hope it gets resolved ASAP! |

I'm with Telus and do not have a problem getting on to the website.
Same with one of my neighbours that I piggieback off of and I am able to get into this site then. As well with my other neighbour who is on Shaw. I think its a glitch of some sort. I dunno  |

Hi Bernie & Paddlecwazy,
We've noticed this problem with a small number of users over the past month or two. Unfortunately, based on what I've seen so far, I can't figure out what's causing it! (and I'm the tech guy around here)
Anyways, can one of you try clearing your browser's cookies and see if anything changes? If that doesn't work could you try using a different browser?.. So if you normally use Internet Explorer, try accessing the site using Firefox and vise versa.
If none of that works, would it be possible to borrow a laptop and try accessing dragon boat west from your home internet?

Hey Blue,
I did use another PC from home which I just did a clean install of Windows 7 and it too would not allow me to get onto DBW.
I can try my neighbour's computer I guess and see if he can see my wireless access and see if that will help but really I doubt it will fix anything.
I have both IE and FF as browsers and neither work.
Any other suggestions?
