Make-up services courtesy of Mabel Ng.

DBW screen name: mandachan

First Name: Amanda (will also respond to "Shorts")

Team: I started Banana Fusion a few years ago right after I graduated from high school. I will also train for FCRCC Women this coming season.

Years Paddling: More than a quarter of my life

Preferred Side: I am bipaddule! But I have spent years more on my right side.

How to recognize me at the creek: Possibly known on the water for my lack of clothes during winter season. If not, then I'm the little asian girl who dances on the Dragonzone docks when nobody is looking.

Favorite Festival: Whistler Regatta 2008. Beautiful skies and water, excellent company, very well organized!

Favorite Part about Being a Paddler: Meeting other paddlers and instantly having something in common with them.

Favorite Movie: Saving Face, Happy Endings, Forrest Gump

Favorite Music Artist: The Beatles

Other sports: I go jogging when I can, and play rec volleyball

Worst job: Working as a bartender/server at a japanese restaurant called Shabusen, I think I was the slowest long-island-ice-tea-maker in the world.

Favorite Food: Sushi is my reason for living.

Favorite place in the world: Kyoto's Gion district

Sexuality: It is possible for me to fall in love with someone regardless of what is in their pants. Woo, double score!

Hobbies: Teaching myself things, like Japanese, Spanish, crochet and guitar. I also love to travel - I plan to hit at least five continents before I turn 25. And of course, I am married to OC and DB.

Strangest turn on: I am attracted to people who give their possessions names.

Strangest turn off: Socks that end exactly between the knee and the ankle. Extra ugly-points if they are tattered and smell bad. I will not talk to you if you wear them with sandals.

Values: I oppose drugs, rape, fast food, and golf.
