Paddle for Kids

I just want to say how much I enjoyed the Paddle for Kids event on the weekend. I didn't go last year and this year it reminded me of how good it is. Kudos to all the organizers and volunteers.
There was an earlier thread about the sport of dragon boating shrinking. I think we need more entry level events like this where people can bring their family and friends to try it in a fun environment.

Sorry, I missed it this year
. There were too many festivals on the same weekend. Hopefully, I'll be back to help again next year.
Do tell....which team fundraised the most money for BC's Children's Hospital? My bet is on TD Lightning....

A total of $78,404 was raised ...
TD Lightning - $14,311.51
BC Hydras - $8756.50
Ritchie BRos. Auctionauts - $6121.00
Eric Hamber Eternal Dragons kicked it on-water and ENMAX, Naikun & Friends stole the mini-Olympics.
Amanda Sayfy, other organizers and the volunteers did a stellar job.
