I just finished shortening my Apex Accelerator just the other day. I ended up ordering a new carbon handle from Apex and cutting my old handle off at the height that I needed and glued the new handle on. The Apex Carbon handles add very little hight to the paddle, so the length that you cut is pretty much what you end up with. The contact that I was dealing with at Apex was Melissa,

I used Gorilla Glue to glue the handle back on, amazing glue.
