Riptide is officially looking for dedicated, enthusiastic paddlers to be a part of our family!
Our team chemistry is amazing, and there is definitely no shortage of get-togethers, late night snacks, and other social events. This is our 2nd year as a team, and last year (in our first year) we placed consistently amongst the Rec A and Rec B crowd (depending on the regatta), with gold medals at Harrison. This year we are hoping to kick it up a notch and be better than ever! Our coaching is solid and we have amazing support and intermingling from our sister team Ready Jet Go! In terms of team demographics, the majority of our team are University students. Everyone on the team is LOUD, proud, and full of energy. In terms of regattas we will pursue this year, that is still TBA, although last year we participated in the FCRCC regattas, Harrison, Alcan, and the Taiwanese just to give you an idea.
Practices are at Dragonzone Sundays 9:30-11:30am, and Wednesdays 7:00-9:00pm. Often times late night snacks or team lunches will follow
