Mixed competitive team based in Vancouver is looking for a few male paddlers to round out the team.  Paddling experience, good fitness level, commitment to training, and a good team attitude are essential.

We practice 3x per week in mixed boats (DB, OC1, OC6) out of FCRCC.  Currently on a Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday schedule.

The tentative race schedule is Alcan regatta, Alcan, and potentially 1 race in Central region (Ontario / Quebec).  We may race in other DB and OC6 races that come up.

Please PM me for more information.

Update: We're also looking for a few girls.

If you're thinking about moving from a recreational level to a more competitive level, come out to one of our practices to see how you like it.

PM for more info.

hello,

Was wondering if you are still looking for male paddlers.  I paddled alot in the late 90's and off and on since then.  Mostly dragon boat and have done some oc6.

thanks,
Francis

Hi everyone.

In addition to Alcan regatta and Alcan, the team will also be racing at the Whistler Dragon Boat festival and Deep Cove's Dash for Charity.   We'll be adding a few races post Alcan as well.

Practices are 3x per week on mixed boats: dragon boat, OC1 and OC6 on a Tuesday, Friday and Sunday schedule.  We paddle out of FCRCC at Granville Island (False Creek).

We are still open to adding female and male paddlers to the roster.  Please PM me for more info.

Cheers   Very Happy
