here's a timbit about us

our brief history
+ once a junior team
Burnaby south + new Westminster + Samantha MacGregor

+ now a young adult team
average age is 20
average team experience lvl is 2.5 years


our goals
- unify our stroke technique
- develop strong stroke fundamentals
- achieve/and maintain rec b status


about the team:
+ we're spread across 3 campuses : UBC, SFU burnaby + SFU surrey
+ studies come first, there will be times where practice will be canceled due to midterms/finals ( if there are less then 14 paddlers showing up
+ team volunteering, we may volunteer for a regatta or 2
+ "as a paddler your responsibility is the commitment to yourself + your team members" -aw,2006
- the captain wants the tire asap

*the commitment/determination of team will determine where our stand is in the field of recreational and competitive.
for now we are a recreational team with aspiration to become a competitive team.

I am a coach who is currently looking for a team.  I've been coaching for 1 1/2 years.  I also paddled for 2 years.  I've taken the coaches training coarses through Water's Edge.

I would like to know where you practice and how many days a week you plan on practicing.
