You can always call the Richmond [UBC Boat House] Office and see what teams are still practicing out on the Fraser, if there aren't any teams still out on the water you may have to head into Vancouver as there are always teams out and about on the creek.

Hello there,

We are looking for some  paddlers on our team, if you are interested.
Unfortunately, we do paddle out of Dragonzone (by Science World), not in Richmond.

We practice twice a week (Sundays @ 955am and Wednesday @ 730pm).
Upcoming festivals we are registered in:
Taiwanese Festival (Sept. 1/2)
Kelowna Festival (Sept 15/16)

Message me at [email protected], if you need more info.

Cheers!

If you can not find any teams in Richmond and don't want to drive to False Creek we have 9 DB teams in Fort Langley.  We have 2 mixed teams.  One is a 3rd year who I think is full but the other is a first year this spring that are doing pretty well.  Almost as fast as the 3rd year! Both practice twice a week.  We also have several women's teams looking for steerpersons.  Contact me directly if you are looking for info.

Isn't there a delta dragon boat centre in Ladner?  I think the home page is www.deltaracingcanoe.com but I don't remember any teams competing this year.
